about

After seven years of silence A Home. A Heart. Whatever. released their new single "Sundaynight" on October 9, 2020. Moving away from electropop to the sound of their own youth, the Augsburg/ Weilheimers have now found and reinvented themselves in the so-called classic band line-up. Back to the essentials, to what shaped, what somehow comes back after 25 years of making music.

lyrics

A sunday night, i swear truly
I´ve never seen so much beauty
If i hadn´t seen it this time
I won´t see it anytime
I´ve never seen so much beauty

The sun turns a gloom, moon is headlight
My bed is a womb and it keeps me tight
Over and over I get high but I am sober
I´ve never seen so much beauty

And I need more time to remain
I need more, I need more
Some more time that I can retain
I need more, I need more

Walls coming closer, closer and closer
Thoughts I got over, hurt when I told her
Crawling from my bed, right into my fuzzy head
I dwell here on the things she said knowing there is no turning back

I wake from this dream as I shout out loud
This room is a cage there is no way out
Colder and colder it gets I wish I could hold her
And have some more of her beauty

And I need more time to remain

Walls coming closer, closer and closer
Thoughts I got over, hurt when I told her
Crawling from my bed, right into my fuzzy head
I dwell here on the things she said knowing there is no turning back
